This is false, fluid film do not cause rubber to swell. It's perfectly safe for rubber.

I've had only gotten weeks out of the 3 in 1 slide lube, wd 40 white lithium, and a couple months and big mess from tubed marine grade white lithium grease. And same frome graphite.Im eyeballing the liquid molly but to hell with that price tag, unless

I found that the squeak on my 2014 was coming from the spring itself (binding). I rubbed lithium grease all over the springs and the noise stopped.
