Fortunately my commute isn't as long as it used to be. But if you ever need a temp setup and happen to have an old cell phone laying around you can always download one of the many apps out there that allow you to use your device as a dash camera. Lot of them have a 'built in dvr' where it will re-write over old data after x amount of storage is used. I did this when I attempted to drive for lyft and uber and worked out well. (mileage may very)

I personally have a Memento M4 in my truck, motion recording, impact, rear camera, has everything I was looking for. I recommend.

I just bought the Anker dash cam from amazon. It has a lot of good reviews. The regular price was $99 and it's on sale right not for about $67. You will need a memory card.

I have the Yi Dash cam, it is worth every penny, video is clean.
