dash trim and console trim paint

has anyone painted the radio bezel and the lighter colored trim on the console pieces ?

I painted mine the same as the truck color.Mine has the 5.0 radio.painted the silver surround of the radio and the vent trim.

What kind of paint did you use? Any special primers or prep work (beyond the normal stuff)?

what about a wrap. You may not be able to tell but the black wrap I used has a metal grain to it that looks nice in the black interior. The wrap was easy to do and is obviously removable.

Nice work. I do like that brushed aluminum look, could be perceived as a really nice stock finish, I always like things to appear stock

I got an aerosol of the exterior pearl paint,Used a plastic primer and sanded it,I bought a bezel off ebay so I could use truck,$40.Primed,painted and clearcoat in one evening,Sanding and masking about an evening.I'll put some photos up tomorrow,I also did vents beside doors and the trim surround for the window switches etc.Looks class when the sun hits it as the pearl sparkles like the outside.

Did this trim pieces just pop out or did you have to take things apart to get them out?

It all comes apart very easy,videos on youtube.Its very simple to remove bezel etc.
