Hey everyone!

I know I could ask my tuner this but I know he's (Jay) busy and don't like to bother with simple questions if possible. I have the 5.7 stock with the Volant CAI with the lower scoop.

Would there be any benefits if I did a data logging session for my truck currently with his tune? I loved the way my truck drove a year ago when I got his tune and haven't done anything or changed since (well changed the TCM tune recently to stock but with 6k shift points).

But I'm pretty busy myself all the time, and if there some benefits to doing this as in making the engine run better? Maybe another couple horses? I'd definitely be up to taking the time at some point to get it done.

Jay has hundred to thousands of hours logging these engines with light bolt ons, so unless you’re troubleshooting a problem or have a wideband to squeeze every last bit of power/efficiency at a specific octane/DA it’s dialed in.

Get a set of longtubes to satisfy the next peak in power!

Thanks for the response! Good to know it's not really important. I wish I had 1700 to drop on some ARH longtubes!

Love my Doug Thorley's, $950 out the door and none of the dipstick issue hassle!
