One of the wires to the evac leak detection valve connector was broke right at the back of the connector. So I need to depin the connector. Can someone explain how to pull these pins out of the connector housing.1000005180.jpg1000005180.jpg20240928_205451.jpg20240928_205440.jpg

To de-pin the connector you need to remove the wires from the back end of the plug. Unfortunately they are most likely glued or epoxied in for weatherproofing. After the wires are removed the metal connector can be de-pinned but there is a special tool to remove them. You can typically get a de-pinning tool set on Amazon. After the old pin is pulled out you’ll need new pins and wires to crimp before reinserting into the connector.

If you have an automotive electrical shop nearby it would probably be cheaper to have them do it if you don’t already have the proper tools and supplies.

Google Bosch 198403874 connector. Not sure how it de-pins but a new connector isn't expensive.
Thanks . Googled it and it's shipped . 14 bucks. Has the wires so all I have to do is splice it on. Where did you get the part number?
