Death wobble 2004 Ram 2500

2004 ram 2500 88k miles. I have replaced the front u-joints in both hubs, track bar bushing, steering dampener, ball joints both sides top and bottom, new tires, had the truck alined and still getting death wobble. All parts were replaced with Moog or oem parts. I can not see any play in the tie rod ends, gear box sway bar and control arms. Any ideas?

When you say you cannot see play, how are you testing this?

Park the truck with the tire snug up against a curb so the tire can't turn easily.
Then have someone slightly saw the wheel left / right.

This should exaggerate any slop. It certainly sounds like you've replaced basically EVERYTHING else that could cause it. Tie Rods are all that's really left.

Might get more help in proper forum also.
The advice of parking next to curb is good. I'd bet steering gearbox or sway bar. What's speed when u notice it?

Sway Bar will not cause death wobble.
Only components that center the axle left/right and or steer cause the issue.

My brothers truck had a serioius case of D.W. his was a older 1 ton, he had replaced everthing up front but was unable to rectify the situation.
Then he noticed some material buildup on the inside of his wheels where they mated up to his front rotors. It was almost nothing but after taking a wire brush to the wheels and rotors the problem was solved.

I had death wobble when I owned my 06 2500 and new tires, alignment and a steering box brace were installed at the same time. I never experienced it again.
