Dee Zee Tailgate Assist Shock

Talked my neighbor into ordering one for his PowerWagon. Didn't take much convincing though... once I showed him how it worked, he almost ran inside to go order it.

They really are a great thing. Hard to believe they aren't original equipment.

Helped my neighbor install his last night. He's a happy, happy, happy camper.

I don't know why they don't come that way from factory either. GMC and Toyota trucks both have it standard.

Yea, my uncle just bought a 2015 GMC Denali 2500 diesel. I was going to recommend the tailgate assist, but when I opened his tailgate, it dropped smooth.

Buddy of mine just bought a Colorado and it has it, looks like it's built in to the pivot points

I love my tailgate assist. It's so nice to be able to just unlatch, and let go. Best $25 mod ever.
