I have posted on other thread about a ping that I am getting in my 2010 1500 since I started using the Trinity. The "ping" happens at WOT in the high end of the RPM band just before it shifts from 1st to 2nd. I have tried 87 octane with 87 tune. I have tried 93 octane with 93 tune and now I have tried 93 octane with 91 tune and I'm still getting the "ping" at the same point. Admittedly, it's not quite as bad using the 93 octane with the 91 tune but it is still there nonetheless. I have done some data logging but to be quite honest, I have no idea what I'm looking at when playing back the data. Ha. I have only had the Trinity for like two weeks so if this thing is gonna be damaging my engine, I'd rather send it back. Is there something I should be doing differently? Also, I have run the 0-60 time trials and my time was 7.71. With an S&B CAI, Trinity running 91 Tune with 93 Octane should I be getting better times? This seems kind of high to me. If here is someone out there that can check out my data logs, I'd be happy to post em up or send em to you so you could tell me wth I'm lookin at. I have been tossing around the idea of an 87mm tb. Would this help my issues here or am I just compounding the problem?

you might ( if you don't already have it ) get Hemifever to tune it.
IMHO that would straighten out the tune and maximize your performance mods.

Also, what parameters should I be logging to get the best information on the performance of my truck? Thanks in advance.

Put it back to stock and see if the "ping" goes away. I'm sure somebody will have more info for you but it shouldn't make any noises.

I know you said the other day in the other thread that you didn't want to change your plugs because of the tight areas and your........uhm......."meaty" fingers and hands.........lol. I bet that'd help your truck alot IF there are alot of miles on your truck and they haven't been changed. Are you going to be coming to Texas anytime soon? I will change them for you if you are going to be near East Texas. Or maybe someone lives close to you and would be willing to give you an hour and a half of their time. That's all it takes probably less if they've done it before. Also the catch can would help, too. Let me know if you are going near Texas and I will be glad to help you out, brother.

46000 on the presumably stock plugs. I been thinking about that too. I wish I was in Texas. I'm in Missouri and don't think I'll be headin that way any time soon. Thanks for the offer though. Ha. What my "meat-fingers" lack, my reach makes up for. 6'4". Lol.

get a hold of Hemifever and he'll instruct you as to what to set the tuner to to get eh right info he needs. then you email the file to him, he makes a tune, emails it back, then you install it, pretty simple.
