Thinking about buying a Diablo Trinity. From what I've gathered they seem to offer the most for our trucks. Is there anything I should know prior to purchasing. I am leaning towards going through Hemifever and snagging their tune with the purchase. Thanks in advance.

I have had mine for a week now and I am still up in the air as to whether or not I really notice a difference from stock to Hemifever 93 octane. The reason I say this is because I thought I would be able to burn tires with his tune but they didn't, the truck just somewhat feels the same as stock. But it could just be me expecting more than I should.

Same here, but with another tuner.

I think my issue is Im comparing it to my '04 and what Superchips did mainly with my 5sp transmission shift points and firmness . Definitely felt a huge difference in just normal driving.

With no adjustments on these 8 speeds, all we are truly getting is a maybe a 10% increase to the wheels in hp/tq. Thats not bad, but my butt dyno isnt sensitive enough to pick that up .

Now I will admit I did notice a big difference when I was going from Knoxville to Cincinnati on Friday when I was doing around 75 and went to passing folks it did get around them much faster. Just looking for that take off power wanna hear the tires squall.

There might be something wrong there. I just did the diablo 93 tune on friday and have unintentionally spun my bfg ats a few times.

What else have you done with your truck? I think the tuner will help a lot more if some mods have been done to your engine. Or I'm just embracing that wishful thinking of mine ha.

I haven't been able to get the Bridgestones to spin from a dead stop yet. I stomp on the gas with traction control off and no spin.. ughh!!!

Mine ran like a beast on 93 tune with 20% throttle boost.

Sounds dumb I know but the 93 tune is dictating that you run 93 octane fuel?

Yes. Running anything less will likely cause detonation. Once the computer detects this, it will pull timing to protect your motor. That pulled timing results in a loss of power.

That's what I was afraid of. The highest fuel I've been able to find up here is 91.

That's no problem. Hemifever will ask you what fuel is in your area and write you a 91 octane tune.

Okay sweet. Start paying closer attention to the fuel pumps around here. Thanks.
