did some new stuff to the dodge (cheap)

i put ALL the infinity speakers/amps/tweeters in my truck and bought the infinity door panels too, put my window switches on doors where they go and hooked up power locks too and put my overdrive button where it goes.





heres all it cost me:

-speakers cost $12 at $2.99 each
-door wiring harness $4.50 each (switches and all)
- door panels $11.75 each


SOON TO COME,
-new steering gear box $22.99
-98 model and up tilt steering column with newer steering wheel $34.00

-and possibly a factory 1999 dodge ram power sun roof for 25 bucks

WIRING was a bi*ch. it took me 6 hrs to wire them properly cause my dodge WAS a base model built with the bare minimum lol my hands and fingertips hurt so bad lol but it was so worth it for the improvement and upgraded the value of the truck some

i know, i am also thinking about doin a 3/4 ton axle swap cause the axles are 100 for the front and 75 for the rear with a 90 day warrenty lol

Here are 3 U pick yards near me. Only one 3rd gen between all of them, and it has been canabalized. There isn't much left on it. There are quite a few 2nd gens though. I love the U pick yards.

i'll 2nd the demand for a write up on the sunroof mod. lol. and if you don't want to do it it, buy it and ship it to me, i'll pay you back for the costs. and do a write up. lol

some of y'all might have it better than you think when it comes to wrecking yards. over here 1 company owns all the picking yards. 1 yard they pull everything off for you and charge for nearly new prices. if your rig or model is 10 years old or newer, you have to go there. if its older, they'll distribute the truck out to the other yards unless its sought after. the kicker is, there is around 10 yards around here, but to get a decent price you need an old rig, or drive a couple hours.
