Yeah that was a dumb move on rams part. When I had my dually I bought the carli suspension cap. I love the fact that it had a little handle on it and on the other side it had a magnet so I just stuck it anywhere while I was fueling up

While the plastic caps worked, I would have given another $20 for a set of caps that I had to go buy anyway!

Come on RAM, keep it classy!

Yeah I had a Carl one as well when I had my diesel.

not sure why everyone is so butt hurt about not having a gas cap. Other manufactures have been running no cap for years.

Gas tank door has a seal, nothing will get down the filler..

My driveway is 3/4 of a mile of Dusty dirt road and every truck I've had this one included I have to wipe down the inside of the fuel door from the dust that accumulates. I'm not butthurt but it's a 10 dollar fix that Ram could have taken care of I don't even want to think about the possibility of what an automatic car wash could do to it. Even if there's no chance of any contamination or dust particles were water, I'll spend $20 for the peace of mind and to keep my butt from being hurt anymore LOL

There is a locking cap for the fuel and DEF filler ports if tampering/theft is a concern.

I got the one with the magnet, its nice I stick it on the door hinge while refueling
