Heard good things about amsoil. I used it in my wrangler. No complaints. If you have LSD you’ll need the additive

You’ll find all fluid types and capacity in manual. Make sure to check you get the right one. I believe it’s 70-90 weight oil

Red Line or Amsoil SVG!

75W-90 is the most popular.

i believe the front is 75w-90 and the rear is 75w-140. I recommend Redline. We offer it, along with forum discounts. PM me if you would like a quote

Thanks again for the speaker advice :)

I installed my Mag-Hytec cover at 1,903 and put in Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-140 without any additives, I'm currently at 15,2** with no ill effects. I emailed Amsoil before the install and this is what they told me.

WiSH2oo0:

I'm looking into buying your Severe Gear 75W-140 (SVOQT-EA) for when I change my rear differential fluid. I have a 2017 Ram 1500 with anti-slip and 3:92 gears. The product page states "If limited-slip differential chatter occurs, add AMSOIL Slip Lock® friction modifier additive." How do I know what this sounds like or how to test if I need to add any Slip Lock?

Amsoil:

The best way to avoid chatter is, once the new lube has been added, drive the truck in tight figure eight turns. This works the new fluid into the clutches and avoids chatter (also known as “slip click”) problems in almost all cases. If you do get noise, add the Slip Lock and repeat the figure eights.

Thank you for contacting us. If you have further comments or concerns, please contact us again.
