Thinking about pulling the trigger on a set of OEM 2500 flares for my '14. Im trying too see what i can find at a decent price before i buy a new set. But after digging through ebay, it appears that there might be a textured style from the factory as well? Just wanted to make sure i wasnt crazy and seeing things as i want to color match them. My luck i would get the wrong set.

I recently went to a -12 offset to gain some wheel lip which im super happy with. However i must be getting old as keeping it clean sucks, and id like some kind of flare and some front duraflaps now!

Just from the photo it looks like to me that the factory style flares are not going to give you enough protection to keep the sides of your truck clean. You might need a "Bushwacker" style that sticks out a little more than the factory flare.

Some people put 3M clear material on before they install the flares to keep the paint from rubbing. My factory flares stick out about 1 1/2"- 2" from the fender and they are the 2500 style on a 1500 Sports.

I don't think there are any true oem 2500 flares that are textured. eBay does have knockoffs though
