Lol...no groundhogs here.Hope you don't hit a groundhog.
Thanks. Haven't had a chance to check out at night. I had their 30" bar and it was bright. 30 was 19,000 lumens and this 40 is rated at 23,000. I'll be sure to post a pic when I do get a shot at night. That looks great. How's the output on the lights?
There are brackets that Down South Kustoms sells that bolt right to where the factory housing bolts to. Very easy install.Looks good. What kind of mount are you using for the fogs? I have a 42" to put on and would also like to set up my fogs like that
Had to fab up the brackets and mounted it to the existing bolts for the tow hooks. I have to pull it off to make some minor adjustments. When I do I'll take some pics.Forgot to ask... u got any install pics and how it's mounted?
I had 6K hids in my fogs before I replaced them with the pods. The 2 pods in both sides are just about as bright as the hids I had in them. I also have 6K hids in my stock projectors40" looks great! Big fan of them in that location, but I would never need it in NJ.
I did order a set of aftermarket fogs and a pair of H1 projectors that I'm going to retro in. Combined with my 55w morimoto HID in the stock projector housings should be a nice bump in light output.
Yeah I hear ya. You can get some pretty high quality led bulbs for the fogs. DSK sells these XML2 bulbs that are awesome. Plug and play. I had hids in my fogs before I put these pods in.looks good..but man I wish someone would make an actual custom fog with LED's rather than bolting in 2 x 4" cubes.
