Do all 2012 Ram Regular Cabs Come Wired For Turn/Puddle Mirrors?

So I'm not sure if it's the truth or just a myth but I keep reading over and over on these forums that to save money, and because they made so few Regular Cabs, Ram puts the same wiring harness in all Regular Cabs.

Is this true or false?

Because some 2012 Regular Cabs Come with these mirrors:


And my 2012 Reg Cab came with these:

Now mine ARE power adjustable and Heated.

So my question is, if I buy a set of 2012 OEM Ram 1500 mirrors with Turn Signals and Puddle Lights will they be a direct plug and play? Will the harnesses and plugs be in there somewhere?

Also, will I need to get a sales code flashed for them to work? If so, what is the sales code if anyone knows.

Thanks in advance for any help. I just HATE the black mirrors, it makes the truck look so cheap and reminds me of the base model neons and civics with black handles and mirrors.

Did some research. They can't be flashed to work. Have to be wired up manually. Now I just need to find a pair.

Bumping this back up, because there is another thread right now going on where members are saying if you get the dealer to flash the sales codes foe Puddle Lights and for Turn Signals they will work.

Yet I saw multiple posts on Ram ForumZ with a Z and everyone in those threads said the flash doesn't work it's a waste of time and money. There even was a guide on how-to hardwire them to your turn signals and your inside overhead light.

I don't know who to believe. I'm buying a set of these mirrors tomorrow so I guess I'll be finding out when I go to the dealer to get the sales codes flashed.


P.S. does anyone know the sales codes for a 2012 1500 for Mirror Puddle Lights and for Mirror Turn Signals? It would help to have them handy when I bring my truck to the dealer.

Ya mine are hard wired to my front turn signals...I almost stopped half way through the process because it was such a _itch lol
