Does any one offer a trans pan for the 2007 1500's that has a temp sensor **** in it? Im wanting to add a transmission temp gauge to my truck.. and dont want to weld in a boss to the stock pan.

I don't think anybody offers what you want. Why don't you want to weld in a ****?

Of course, there are better/more accurate places to monitor trans temp.

Since I am new to the dodge scene, where is everyone else with a trans gauge mounting theirs?

Isnt one of the best places to mount a temp sensor for the trans in one of the lines going to the radiator?

You can hook a gauge up to the test port on your trans. Use an autometer 3280 1/8 to 1/16 adapter and an autometer 2259 temp sender to hook up just about any gauge.

Awesome. Thank you so much for the advice...

Last question!! I saw they have a steering column pod.. which is sick.. BUT... it is a dual only for my year. Anyone make a single? I wouldnt know what other gauge to put there since its not a diesel!!

Lot of good answers guys! Brian you gonna go with the SRT pod? When you're ready to buy make sure you check with Duane at 3rd Strike! He will hook you up!

I am torn!!! Either the SRT pod... or possibly do a trans and AF in the column... IDK!!!! Imma sit on it for like.....5 days maybe. Just bought a navi bezel and pioneer doubledin and stuff..... once its in ill be looking for another mod and the trans temp gauge is def a must for me since im putting my drivetrain through hell in a megacab form. Mag-hytec makes a pan with a port tapped and plugged ready to go.

you have to get this one that has the notch for your exhaust unless your running true duals or something similar.

I have this pan on my trans and it makes it much easier to do those trans fluid changes.

EDIT*
Didn't realize you have a mega cab, so I am not familer with how your exhaust is routed. you may be able to use the full pan with out the notch
