Dodge Lean or Bad Bilstein install? lol...wtf

Hey guys just a quick question...

I Just got a bilstein leveling kit and have it set at 2.1" but i've noticed the driver side is 1" higher than the passenger side. Granted I had 20 miles left on the gas tank so I'm not sure how much that would effect things. I did fill up this morning and think the difference is a little smaller but haven't been able to measure it yet.

Shouldn't make a difference where your gas gauge is... it should always sit evenly on both sides. I have the Dodge Lean, but the original Dodge Lean is the left rear leaf spring sagging. I've only heard of a few cases where someone had it on the passenger side and haven't really heard anyone with a 4th Gen having the lean. Definitely measure it out because it be an optical illusion.

Oh I measured it one side is 39" and one side is 38" hah...

Did you measure front and back? I know I'm an inch low in the back, but it brings my front down about a 1/4, maybe it's back sitting a lil lower or (I find highly unlikely, but possible) a bad Bil on one side.

Uhh... I dont think this should look like this....

First pic is driver side and second is passenger...

So I told them to set these at 2.1 does that mean one is at 2.8 and the other is at 1.5?

Looks like driver side is on the very top ring on the Bilstein and the Passenger side is on the 2nd or so from the bottom?

By the pics, it appears that they are in fact set different and that is your result of lean.

The best thing was the guy that was fixing it / reinstalling it was like.. Have you been out offroading this thing on some big jumps? I'm like lol no...


Yes lets deflect that you messed this up in the start somehow.

well I haven't tried to leave yet as they're still working on it at 3+ hrs now... waiting to see if they try to hand me a bill at the end of this.
