So I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 mega cab so it has it has 9 lugs wheels so it’s lifted 8 inches and my wheels are 22’s and but since it’s a gasser I wanna lower so I can get better gas mileage how do I go about this??

You either have 8 lug wheels or someone did a 10 lug conversion on it but that was usually done on dually trucks.
As for the 8" lift, you'll need to what pieces are not factory and replace them with such or find a shorter lift kit. I'm guessing the axles have been regeared for the much larger tires.
As for the fuel economy, don't expect miracles. A 1500 mega cab is basically a light duty 2500. Even stock 2500s back then fuel economy was in the low to maybe mid-teens?
Depending on how much has to be changed with the suspension, possible re-gearing and rims/tires, there probably won't be money saving from slightly better fuel economy. Consider trading that beast in on something newer with a Pentastar if fuel economy is your concern.

You probably won't get ur money back in fuel savings by spending $$$ to go back to stock set up
