Just venting here a little bit. I love my truck I only had it for a little bit but I really take as much care of it as many of you guys do. My friends always make fun of me bc I dont drive like an ass, dont speed a whole lot, NEVER hit bumps when possible, dont brake really hard, maintenice all the time (fluid changes, cleaning etc).
My one friend who has his f150 4x4 just speeds rights through this extreamly bumpy dirt road one time and I yelled at him for it haha. He was like "but its a 4x4" I was like that has nothing to do with breaking an axel lol. Anyway I get crap from a lot of people and my truck is a 2500 as well but I want to keep it a very long time.
My grandfather started making me drive when I was 11 years old ( he lives in a small town in upstate NY so I was on the actual roads when I was 11) And he always stressed to me all of the things I do. In fact on his 2002 youkon he had original tires on it for the first 80k miles and probly could have kept them on longer. So whenever I drive any of the trucks we have in the family thats how I treat them.
Just wondering who here does the same or just beats it up because its a truck. Yea I may overdue it sometimes but when I do need to beat it up a little I know it wont be weakend at all from doin it a lot from before.
