Hello everyone, I just brought home my first Ram truck last night and I'm looking for some guidance if at all possible. It's a 2009 Crew cab and I will be changing out my aftermarket audio from my car to my truck.

Are there any tutorials on how to remove the rear seat backs and door panels? I do not want to go tearing into this beautiful truck, end up missing something and breaking it. I know with my with my 07 F150 there were clips you had to engage to get the seat out, with this, do you have to remove the whole thing? Also, I would hate to break up my door panels due to not knowing how it is secured. Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure about the door panels.
To remove the Rear seatback unbolt the 4 bolts in the floor holding the seat brackets in place. Once that is done raise the seat bottom while pulling forward on seat back. Once the bottom gets to about 45 degrees the seat back will release from the back wall.
At that point you can pull the whole seat for easy access. Or you can do what many of us have done and add spacers between the floor and the bracket to raise it about 5/8-3/4 of an inch. Then all you have to do is pull up on seat bottom and pull on seat back like you did earlier. Seat still stays secure an you have easy access to back wall without completely in bolting the seat.

Door panels are a cake to remove. Remove the screw behind the door handle using a Phillips head, then the screws alon the outside of the panel using a t20 bit, if I remember correctly. Remove the clips that the screws were in and pull up and off.

Great, thanks guys. Its funny, I posted this then found threads right away explaining how to do both. they both look pretty easy. That was some nice additional info to know on the spacers. Ram247, I'm going to check out that build thread now.
