My 2018 Laramie is having intermittent door locking and unlocking problems.
Sometimes I can’t lock the doors with my remote, passive entry button or the door lock button and it won’t automatically lock when driving.
Sometimes cannot unlock with the remote, passive entry button or the buttons on the doors.
Tailgate stays locked until things work properly again.
The only way to lock or unlock the doors during these times is manually or pull up on the door handle to open the door or use the key.
I haven’t had a chance to scan for any codes yet. This problem has been going on for a couple of weeks, as I said it is off and on.
The horn blows and light flash but nothing locks or unlocks.
What do I need to look for to find this problem?
Someone must have an idea. I’m still open to ideas.
Also I have found out that if I lock my truck manually and come back out later I can unlock it in any of the normal ways.
