Has anyone changed their door speakers without adding a amp? If so how did you like the results?

I changed mine to the Mopar/Kicker speakers before I added a sub. They sounded much better than stock. That said with the sub now, I feel they really need to be amplified.

Appreciate the response. I know what an amp would do but wanted to hear from others who didn't add one. I added a kicker 10 already and was looking for more. I want to add another 10 soon.

I have not changed out any speakers but disconnected the factory sub (2019 model) and installed my own dual sub with amp set up under the rear seat. I'm quite happy with it. This is the HK "19 speaker" set up, which of course is not 19 speakers. I have plenty of high end, mid and now, lots and lots of bass. I like to feel the bass. :)
