So will 1980 D350 DOOR fit properly on my 1988 D250 OR MY 1989 D250.
found a guy with what he says is a good clean door .
... I was thinking There was some difference in outside shape of those years .

they will physically fit just fine. the body character lines however, will not match up with your fenders/box. I put 1978 doors on a 92 cab but used 78 fenders and box as well.

.. Do you know how far back the doors that are correct for my 1988 go back .
I'm planning on giving it a farm paint job this summer .
We'll see.

I READ SOME WHERE TODAY THAT 85 UP TO 93 ARE THE SAME .
Anyone want to agree or disagree with this .

By box I mean the rear bed. the body style changed in I believe 1981. so if you have an 88, any doors from 81 -93 should fit from a body line stand point. if you just need doors that fit to keep wind/water out but don't care about body lines lining up, 1972 - 1980 will fit as well.

the only thing I don't know for sure is the latch mechanism compatibility so keep your old hardware.
