Dr door switch

I need to replace the window switch on the driver side door, can I remove the switch without removing the door panel? Or do I need to remove the door panel to get the switch out?

You can use a flat head screwdriver and gently pry up on the outer part of the switch bezel and it will pop right out

Gently is the key word there. The little plastic pieces that hold the trim plate in place break off very easily. I only have 3 left on my driver door. I had to fashion up a bracket out of aluminum to hold it all in place. Which works very well by the way.
