I don't think you can legally be listed as the actual main driver till your not a minor anymore if I'm remembering this right? I'm curious what you do to make that much money in a month though, I might go job hunting lol

I'm gonna be a salesman at my aunt's dealership. The other salesman get payed less than that, about $2,000 a month + commission, but she's paying me more cause I'm family and all that so yeah. I'm getting payed about manager salary

No you can be listed as the main driver, unless there are more drivers in the house hold than there are vehicles, in that case, the youngest driver usually goes on the oldest vehicle so the rate is really low while the oldest driver gets put on the newest vehicle for the same reason.

Yeah it is, late hours though. Monday- Friday is 5:30 PM - 10 or 11 PM and Saturday is 7 AM - 10 or 11 PM, but I like the atmosphere there and I like that job so I'll be happy

Nobody knows what the other person makes unless you tell them. The people there don't really care about what others make cause that's just the way my aunt made it

Just keep an eye out if there any workers who are not happy and dont be suprised if its hard to make friends there. You will prob get 20 questions a day about you and your truck and its gonna get worse whenit starts getting mods on it. Dude im siked you have an R/T be proud.

Everybody knows I have that truck. Where I bought it is where I'll be working, benny boyd, and everybody there was excited that I got that truck. I'm already friends with everybody there as I have been at that dealership since I was 7 back when my aunt was a salesman(woman) and now she's co-owner

Just keep your mouth shut for the first few months, people might think you are getting special treatment, which dont kid yourself you are getting special treatment, so just make it seem like its a favor she is doing for you and play it cool. Its just the way things are.

People already know I'm getting special treatment since my aunt is co-owner, they just don't know the specifics of that treatment

Tell them if they ask that she's giving you the opportunity to be a salesman so early (most 16yr olds are usually car hops or detailers at that point) and leave it there. I dont want to sound harsh or anything but my friends have worked in dealerships where a new guy comes in and basically acts like they own the place (not saying you willl) and they just get the bottom of the barrel as far as trying to sell anything or get run out. Its a tough market out there right now so just keep things pushed under the rug untill you are comfortable and have been there a while.

Again I am not saying that you would do any of that, I'm just saying watch yourself on what you do, say and act for a while after you first start up there

BTW you have one hell of a ride there. I so want to run an r/t one of these days. I have taken a few 4th gens rc & qc, just no r/ts yet

I'll keep it quiet, thanks for the advice. Thanks for the compliment. Well if you've taken a hemi r/c then you'll probably take the r/t. What do you run in the 1/4?

The only difference (as far as I know) is the torque converter and the badging. I think you'd be pretty damn close.
