I can’t be the only person dealing with this issue. The creaking sound the drivers door makes. Especially when it’s all the way open and you are pulling it closed to start driving. It’s driving me nuts. So far I’ve tried:
1) WD40
2) T-9 Boeshield
3) CRC 6-56 Marine
4) CRC Heavy Duty Silicone
5) PB Blaster
6) even Fluid Film (which I ended up wiping off because it made the cab of truck stink.)

Am I missing something?

Wire brush surface rust if there is any, spray paint to match truck, let dry. White lithium grease, let it soak and wipe off excess? Or if it’s not rusty maybe a body shop can make an adjustment.

You're not the only one and I remember somewhere else it was reported. Mine started doing it with only 16k miles on it. I used Fluid Film and worked the heck out of it but it still did it. Then the next day it totally went away. I assume it needed time to work on.

Mine have done it a couple of times. First time i used Lithium grease on the spring and hinge, 2nd time i put a little dab of marine grease on the hinge. Have held up great so if it happens again i'll do grease again. Last time i bothered with it i think was the begining of the year so the door has stayed quiet since then.

The only way I can get it to stop is by using a nozzle and spraying/squirting it directly in the top of the bushing and even then it only last for a couple of months. Nothing else worked for me.

I used liquid graphite (spray can) and it worked great. That was over a year ago

Honey goo is also great for hinges. Its pretty thick so it stays in place for a long time.
I used to use white lithium grease but I had to reapply every few months so I switched.

Had the issue on my 11’. Used 3in1 oil and did a few drops on top of the roller and let it soak in. Opened and closed the door (just short of latching) and noise vanished. The issue is inside that roller bushing.

I used rv slide lube since I had a can handy and wd-40 didn’t last long. Figured couldn’t hurt to try it. Been about 8 months since I gave it one spray and still no squeak has returned.

I've used white lithium grease with great success after cleaning. Just gotta make sure it will hold up to water and moisture.

WD- 40 worked for me. Just sprayed a generous amount. Haven't had squeaking in months.

I battled this, and upon close inspection I found it really to be the heavy rubber weather seal flared and rubbing across the metal inside the door. It becomes stiff and less smooth early in the trucks life and begins to make that ungodly sound like a creaky hinge. this is why 10 lubricants on every different mechanical part is yielding little to nothing. The ones who got results is because enough lube missed and got the rubber and metal it was rubbing against. Highly likely this is everyone's issue. For sure it was for me I watched with a headlamp on as it made the sound like some evil cello string as it rubbed with the slightest movement of the door. 303 will help the strip, red n sticky might be a good bet for the metal, perhaps a good smoothing with high grit sand paper or fine steel wool... good luck.
