2016 ram 1500 single cab.
Trying to get a driveshaft built, looks like I am flanged at both ends of driveshaft and the "slip" is achieved right in the middle of the current stock driveshaft.
With that being said is there a compatible transmission slip yoke that could replace the current flanged end @ the transmission? I do not want a "2 piece" slip driveshaft.
Any help/part # is greatly appreciated.

If I’m not mistaken, the drive shaft shop will make a custom driveshaft for that setup. My truck also has a 2 piece shaft and has flanged ends. They said they could make a custom 1 piece with flanged ends in a 5” carbon fiber for about 1100 if I recall.

Yeah, the dude at the shop told me to see if they made a slip joint because with the 2 flanged ends the driveshaft has to have some type of was to expand/contract. It would be creating a weak point, just trying to avoid that.

Run the idea of using your front flange and a short chunk of the original driveshaft to a steady or center bearing,and have the slip joint at the bearing.He'd have to fab up a mount for the center bearing though.Just an idea to run past him

Thanks for that link, looking like a 2 piece driveshaft though (male/female type). Also says well over 150HP from stock it can handle. Wish that was more specific, probably going to be a large amount of HP over that with current setup.
I think its a typo and they meant 150 mph.

@Hemi450hp

When you order that driveshaft from Moe's, do they need specific measurements?

Get with a shop like Action Machine. https://www.actionmachineinc.com/ There are plenty of aftermarket slip yokes for all sots of Dodge transmissions and transfer cases. You will need the spline count and outside diameter of the current flanged yoke. They will work with you to get the right measurement to make the driveshaft. They have over 100 different slip yokes. Their slip yoke page can show them by transmission, transfer case, etc. https://www.actionmachineinc.com/collections/transmission-slip-yoke

I'd take the time to contact Matt at Moe's Performance and talk to him. His truck is around 1100 hp. I think he can answer your questions about driveshafts.

Just spoke with Matt, he said the driveshaft has been ran up to 700rwhp with no issues.
