Ok guys, dont burn me too bad here, I came from chevys my whole life and this is my first dodge. I want to run 20x10 -24s, either 33s or 35s, will a level be enough for this? I've been trying to read as much as I can all afternoon.

Truck is a 2014 express Crew Cab 4x4, Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure +0 = no rubbing, -12 = possibility, -24 = yes. Stand by for the correction if I'm wrong.

Lift. Would a 2.5 level and a 1.5 body give me enough to clear a 35 12.50 on x10 -24s? or am I better off with a 33 12.50 with the same setup?

Are you wanting a really wide stance? You can definitely fit a 35x12.50 with only 2" of lift and 4.5" of backspacing

The wheels I'm looking at are MO970, 20x10 -24 and Moto Metal website says that the 20x10 -24 5x139.7 is a 4.56 back space.

Honestly I think your best bet, safest route would be bilstien up front at 2.8, 3/4"-1" spacer in the rear. Then try and find you some rims in 20x10 with -12 offset. The -24s will fit, you will just need to do some trimming.

And don't worry... Anything will look good when you don't have silly, square, fender wells!

I did come across this thread finally by brandonjansen, and this is what I found fwiw on offset/bs

"Aftermarket Rim and Tire Sizing

When it comes to aftermarket rim and tire sizing there are literally thousands of combinations you could come up with. Obviously I cannot cover every single one by I will lay out some of the common sizes and set ups that the majority of people will want to run.

Aftermarket rims come in a verity of different sizes. Typically the rim width will be in ½” or 1” increments and the offsets will be in 12mm increments (at least for the range we’ll be looking at). Most guys run either 9” or 10” wide rims with either a 5” or 4.5” backspacing on Ram 1500’s. These are the most common aftermarket rim sizes for Ram 1500’s

20x9 0 offset (5” backspacing)
20x9 -12 offset (4.5” backspacing)
20x10 -12 offset (5” backspacing)
20x10 -24 offset (4.5” backspacing)"

I dont mind running a little narrower tire, in either 33 or 35, if you were to have any suggestions. I appreciate the help too! Yes, I am still not sure why GM uses square fender wells for round tires HAHA

Just give it a day or two.. Or do some more google searching. I promise you someone has this setup and could help you more. Give them time to sober up.

I didnt really even consider that.. good point. So do you think a 3" body will get me where i need to be for -24 and 35 12.50s? I might just say the heck with it and just do a level and body, and dont look back. I would rather have all suspension, but its not in the budget right now haha. Thanks guys, hope everyone has a happy and safe New Years!

Ok, I think I found what I needed! I hope. Patrick5942 posted 2014 ram 20x12 wheels on leveling kit. I dont know how to link the post, but this is what his original post says.

"Posting some info on my truck because during the shopping process I had quite the time trying to find this setup and had to take a leap of faith on the sizing! What I did was a rough country 2.5 inch leveling kit and 20x12 moto metal mo962 wheels with a -44 offset wrapped in 33x12.50 nitto trail grapplers. For those out there looking to do the tire wheel combo with a leveling kit I have zero rubbing issues at all and everything fit perfect and looks pretty sweet in my opinion what do ya'll think?"

So then this leads me to believe if he can fit 33 12.50s on 20x12 -44, SURELY I can fit 33 12.50s, atleast, on 20x10 -24. I know, I'm back and forth, but I'm hoping this is solid info now.

Go for it man! If you're dead set on -24, I'm sure once you get them mounted, you can do minor trimming if necessary. Definitely go with the bilstien 5100 shocks! It's worth it and a very good price. Install isn't bad at all. Keep us updated.

Happy New Year.

I ran Bilsteins and 1.5" BL with 33s on 20x12 -44 wheels with no rubbing. I wouldn't run it again as it wasn't my style but it ran fine. That small of a lift needs to be tucked more in my opinion.

Yeah, -44 x12s seem to be out there quite a ways, I dont think I would like that wide being that low. Thanks for the input.
