Hey guys, I am going to lower my 13 express crew cab in the next month or so and have been doing a lot of reading on what kit to buy. I think I am going with the beltech 2 4 drop with the street performance shocks and track bar. Then getting the helwig rear sway bar and upgrading to the moog front sway bar links. I have the air lift 1000 bags now but I will be purchasing the set for the Durango as I pull a 20ft enclosed trailer.

I have two questions. With a 2 4 drop, do you get a lot of tire rub on the plastic inner fender well liners? Some of the places I go, I have to pull my trailer off the road into a valley type of area and I hate to start ripping stuff up on a new truck. I am running a set of 22 inch SRT replicas with Falken 285-45-22 tires.

Second question. I know this question has been asked a million times, but I’m worried about what the ride will be like. Can someone give some opinions on what the ride will be like with the setup I am planning on running?

Thanks in advance!!

Stick with the stock shocks if youre going to be pulling. The bt shocks are just way too soft imo.

I can weight in alot on this. I have a 2015 RT, but have the EXACT setup you are looking into. Belltech 964sp, moog links, hellwig bar and 22';s with 285/45r22. Front ONLY rubs when going very fast and aggressive and hit a huge bump. Its so minor, its not even a concern.

I always have Durango bags, and SP shocks. Works perfect. Yes the SP shocks are a bit soft, but with 8psi in the bags it completely transforms them.

My truck rides like stock, but handles significantly better. Being a longer wheel base CC, the ride would be better then my short chassis Reg Cab.
