Drver's seat won't stay locked into position

I recently started having trouble with my driver's seat staying in postion, like when you move the seat up to get something or someone out of the back seat, and then slide the seat back where I keep it, it keeps wanting to spring all the way forward again. It's like the teeth or whatever hold it in each position aren't engaging all the way. This is especially unnerving when it happens while driving. I have been pretty busy lately, so I haven't really had time to get down and inspect under there to see whats going wrong. Has anyone else had a similar problem, and is it something fairly simple to fix, or am I looking at a dealer part? Any though would be appreciated.

this is by no means a fix but I've had similar problems with my passenger seat, i figured out by kinda hopping on it it slams into position lol and stays locked

If somebody else has a good fix for it that would be awesome
