Dyno numbers

Last time I did a dyno run it was with my superchips programmer, CAI and open cutout and it put down 276rwhp and 301rwtq.... Haven't had a chance to get it up there with the current combo though.

IMO though, dyno numbers mean nothing. Track ET's are how you can really tell that the parts you put in are actually working.

Who did your dyno pulls if i may ask? Looking to get mine done once i get tuning down for the new cam. Did they do 3rd gear pulls and did they do it right since we havetro shift back to 2nd to lock out 4th.

One of the shops around here a few years back was doing one of thier DYno Days GTG's and I was able to stop in. $40 for 3 pulls and they were done in 3rd. Not to sure if the shop is even there still since it was just a hole in the wall then. I'll have to drive by there and see if they are still open or not. There are a few shops suprisingly in my area that have dynos but this one was the cheapest due to the GTG rates.

$40 for three pulls is a really good deal. The cheapest around here is $100 for three pulls.

Yeah normaly it would have been around the $80 range for 2 pulls but because of the gtg they dropped thier rates quite a bit.

Nice. I have been wanting to get on the dyno but just can't see putting my incomplete truck on the dyno for $100.

Thanks for the info. There maybe a couple here in Tucson but they may of also closed thier doors or sold the dyno. Hard enough finding a weigh station lol. So it looks like there are more selction in the valley and other areas.. Just want to get an idea on my powercurve so i can get an idea of my next stall.

When I was looking for one back then there were 5 of them within 3 miles of my house, 15 of them within 20 miles of my place. so yeah there are quite a bit of them or at least there were. I'll take a drive tomorrow and see if the one place is still around
