So today I parked on a hill and I stepped on the e-brake and it gave no resistance as it went straight to the floor. It did not hold my truck that's when I took my foot off the brake in park it rolls forward slightly. So that brake doesn't work obviously. But now I have a red brake light blinking on my dashboard. Has anyone had experience replacing rear brakes or emergency brake parts?

What he ^^ said. The emergency brake is purely mechanical, so if you feel no resistance, then either the cable broke, or the linkage disconnected somewhere (under the dash @ the pedal, somewhere towards the back where the cable connects to the y-harness for the rear brakes, etc.)

Not too much to troubleshoot with those things.
