just say no!!!! our hemi's don't like exotic's... the resistance falls out of the norm which throws off the sensors/pcm....

They have been in my ram for about 10k or more with not one issue great spark no codes related to spark or anything.. don't know why everyone is so afraid of them.. I hear claims of horror stories but yet to actually see one.
I'm happy with them.. plus the way I look at them and seen first hand how they hold up in a top fuel motor they are good enough for my truck.

Once I get a moment I will be pulling mine to inspect them and If they are crappy or worn or anything I will let everyone know but for now they run well..
If I ever got the chance I would also stick them on the dyno and give real world test results than opinion base reaction to them

cool, glad it works for you...when you get into cammin and heads...I was throwin misfire codes with any plugs but the coppers, and it was harder to custom tune. Once I went back to ngk coppers, everything settled down...

Interesting there is a conflict with that combo but ya can't say its the spark plugs fault when there are so many variables changed especially with a cam that requires custom tuning.

Speakin of spark plugs and performance...Any of you try to line up the injector with the part of the plug where the spark is comming from..Saw something on youtube about it and though "nawww thats gotta be a gimmick" but i forget what its called..Anyone try this to see if there is an advantage to it??

It's called indexing. Might have the small gains you would be looking for in drag racing where every millisecond counts but probably couldn't tell the difference in a daily driver.

That's what I was told in the past anyway.

years ago a tech brought up that plugs have a certain resistance in them and with other plugs other than coppers, it caused sensors to misread which in turn would cause the pcm to be 'confused'...when i dragged raced with plugs other than coppers, I was throwin misfires and with spray, would have been deadly on my motor. When I went to just coppers, didn't have those issues so i stayed with them as my block is approaching 300k miles now and it's one less thing for me to worry about..the handful of us guys who have been drag racing our modded trucks for years will only use coppers..

Just use the regular coppers. Don't overthink it. This goes along with the "what kind of oil" and "what octane fuel" arguments. Just use what the manufacturer suggests, and change it when they say to. Coppers changed every 30k, 5w-20 oil every 3 to 5k, and 89 octane. If they ran better on anything else the manufacturer would tell you to use it.
