Is there a way to add android auto to my early 17 ram?

Yes, it's a common upgrade. Check the DIY section of the forum and you will find several threads on it. You will need different parts depending on what radio your truck currently has. At minimum you will need to install a UAS non Nav or UAQ Nav radio plus a new media hub . You will also need the media hub conversion harness from M2mods. You can contact M2mods in the vendor section of the forum. I reccomend you purchase any harnesses you need from him. Someone will probably post the link to the thread. I can never seem to do it on Taptalk for some reason.

I have Uconnect 8.4 with nav. not subscribed. What do you suggest.

Does your truck have factory dual zone ATC?
If so,
2018/19 classic 8.4 ram UAQ or UAS radio (~$650-$900 used)
2018 USB Hub ( ~ $130)
Usb hub adapter harness ($40 from us)
