Yeah. My warranty was gone long ago. I usually start modding my vehicles about weeknone of owning them. If I could buy a new vehicle without warranty for much cheaper I'd be all over that. I hate dealerships too and do all my own work so even if it's warranty I usually fix it myself anyways.

Highly advise getting headers from ebay. I recommend JBA headers. For something so vital to your engine, going cheap is not an option in my opinion.

You guys aren't factoring in he's in Canada, you can pretty well double the price of a set of long tubes up here, from what you Southerners pay.For under 300 bucks, they are a smoking deal compared to even a set of JBA's. Even if they only last 3 or 4 years he's way ahead of the game, lol

Damn right! Everything costs more up here and we have less of selection too! But we have beer and maple syrup down packed!

Hi
Has anyone purchased a set of Headers from ebay that sell for under $200..
I am tempted to buy a set for my 2017 so at $250 CDN delivered sounds like a steal..

Thanks
Joe
Just for the hell of it, if you want to save some money and go with a set of long tube headers, I have actually had really good luck with these headers from Amazon seller Auto Dynasty...

Several of my customers have purchased these in an effort to save some cash. They turned out to be a decent long tube header for the money!

I too have generally heard good stuff about the DNA headers. There's a big thread about them over at the lxforums that's been going on a few years now and most people who actually own them have nothing but good things to say about them.

Only thing about them is they're 1 and 7/8 primaries, but that shouldn't be too big of a deal for 8 speed trucks.

I have two sets of the DNA Motoring 1⅞ long tube headers. One set is about 3 years old and the other set is only 3 months old. Tht welds and the flanges have held up quite well and I only have some minor discoloration in the headers.

Nice, how was the install/fitment? Any losses down low?

I didn't have any trouble with fitment as both of my trucks are 2WD. One is a 2004 and the other is a 2005. On the 2004 5.7 I did have some loss of low end torque from idle to about 2800rpm. The reason for this was because I bought the truck not running and the motor was in terrible shape. It had a ton of blow-by and two cylinders with less than 70psi of cylinder pressure. Once I tore the motor down and fixed everything I had no power loss. The motor only stayed in stock form for about 10 days before I tore it down again to build it how I wanted it.

When I performed the install on my 2005 5.7 HEMI I had zero loss of horsepower and torque. This was confirmed with several Dyno pulls in stock form and several more after the headers and true dual exhaust. I did all of my Dyno pulls on the stock PCM software so I could see if there were any losses throughout the entire RPM range and then I started tuning to see what I could really make.

At the price JBA costs I will buy the AFE... and yes I am in Canada so it will be well over $1100 Canadian when I get them. I don't want to change the Y Pipe. I have my Race car to beat...:)

Where in hell did you find a set of long tube AFE headers in Canada for $1100 Canuck???
That's what I paid for my JBA long tubes with catless Y pipe. If those are long tube headers you'll need a new Y pipe,as no long tube headers will bolt up to the stock Y pipe as far as I know, that would be a work of art if they did,lol

It is very easy to torque the bolts on these headers. I have always been a fan of long tube headers when it comes to the sound of the exhaust. The sound of Long tubes and a full 2½" or 3" exhaust with a good pair of mufflers has a hollow sound to me that is music to my ears compared to a pair of shortie headers and a y-pipe.
