I think I do have a broken manifold bolt so why not get headers right,.. LOL
Which honestly I really didn't want to do to this truck but what do you guys think?

Yes I know there not ARH or Stainless works but I just want to replace my ****** stock manifold with. Not worried about HP gains.

Performance Long Tube 1 7 8" Stainless Exhaust Headers 09 15 Dodge RAM 5 7L Hemi | eBay

Won't I need the 02 extension and some header collector reducers?

Just a heads up, if you get longtubes with no cats you will hear a lot more engine noise. It will almost sound like an exhaust leak. If I were to do it I would get catted ones or the shorty headers.

Be careful with the chinese knock off headers as they are known to leak and crack as another member here just posted about a few weeks ago with a set of the OBX.

On top of this you are going to need to either buy or have a new mid pipe built in order to run those headers. You will need to either buy o2 extensions or cut your factory wiring to extend the o2 sensors. If you remove the cats, you will also need custom tuning to disable the check engine light that it will throw.

I agree with Kyle on this one. If you are just trying to fix a broken header bolt, you are better off just throwing a set of shorties on there.

Just remember you get what you pay for..... Average set of LT's goes for 3 times that amount.... I see nothing but a head ache in your future with these.

Matt had good advice, just got for shorties.

I bought obx and have been chasing leaks for 2 months one was a hole in one of the tubes where it welds to the flange I've narrowed the last one I hope to the collector where the 4 pipes go together next week I'm taking them off again and cutting and welding both collectors oh and the provided y pipe was leaking everywhere had to weld it also .you do get what you pay for but I've still spent a whole lot less than if I would have bought another brand but i
also do all my own work.

I was waiting for somebody to say that.
Well looks like I paid for a ****** dodge with ****** stock manifolds. haha

I just figured since shorty's are around the same price might as well go long tubes. I have a intune so a tune is no problem and have a exhaust guy that does great work.

But after it's all said in done, I will probably be over a grand, with cats which I want to run, o2 ext, bolts, gaskets, custom y pipe.. lol

BBK shortys bolt on like stock and hook up to the stock exhaust pipes?

Did all the used sets sell from the for sale section? Just have to keep in mind the headache involved with the constant repair and the potential wasted dollars when you replace them when the have so much headache. Biggest thing i have learned building cars is cutting corners on quality parts always bites you in the ass and costs more money and time in the long run

I know ebay is not the go to see what fits or not but why do these say they fit a 06 RAM?

JBA Long Tube Headers 06 14 Dodge RAM Truck 5 7L Hemi Steel 6961s | eBay

Because the seller doesnt work on Ram trucks and is only listing them way JBA has them listed in their brochure. They bolt up to the 06 Ram heads, but do not clear the frame rails. I have mentioned this to JBA, but they have not updated their info yet.

And I think you are wasting your time with the BBK shorty headers as well. I know you dont want to hear any of this, but its just going off personal experience with the brands. BBK has been on a downward spiral when it comes to quality lately, and many guys are having leak issues with those as well. Hate to spend money to fix a current leak only to hae the new ones leak as well.

This is also the case in the late model mustang world, know alot of guys that have nothing but headaches with BBK headers on late model ponys.

I appreciate the feedback Matt. Defiantly dont want anything that will leak again. That would really **** me off. lol

I forgot about the JBA's, those are not a bad price. Going to have to look into it.

I maybe hoping the dealer will fix the bolts.

I have OBX headers with the off road y-pipe. I have no complaints. I had mine ceramic coated. I did add a vibrant super quiet resonator pre muffler. It was very loud and noisy before I added the resonator. I paid $569 for headers and y-pipe.

Do you have the factory resonators before the exhaust tips
