Hey guys. Been doing my research on here and other places on the web. seen a lot of talk about the EBC greenstuff and the EBC yellowstuff pads. however, nothing about EBC redstuff pads? any reason why? I did a search, but hardly anything came up about the REDs so that is why I created this post.
I am about due for front pads AND rotors and will be going with EBC.... just not sure which ones.
I will not be racing the truck at all, but it does get driven a bit "hard" from time to time around town and on trips. I only haul s small boat and utility trailer on rare occasion....but MIGht be buying an old 1975 pro-street camaro and an enclosed trailer in a few years time (thats another discussion about towing for another day)
This truck IS my daily driver. It currently has 56,000 miles on it. 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 2wheel drive, crew cab 5.7L automatic with the 20" aluminum wheels
the redstuff seems like a nice blend in characteristics between green and yellow, but peopledont seem to be using them or at least posting about it. any reasons why ? rif so, recomendations on green or yelow ?
not sure about going flat rotors or going with dimpled and slotted
dust isnt a big deal for me, as I wash the truck regularly.
I think the greens would be a way better than stock setup right? also i dont want to go TOO aggressive on the brake system, my camaro is for that kind of hard braking
