EBC Stage 3 Brakes Installed

Finally got around to changing my front brakes at least. EBC stage 3 slotted/dimpled rotors with green stuff pads.

Started raining pretty good so I never had a chance to do the rears tonight.
When the rear brakes are changed out I will be doing a full brake system flush/bleeding.

So far stopping is good, virtually no noises anymore. Old rotors were rusted solid to the hub and spent about 15 minutes with a propane torch per side getting rotors off thanks to northern Ontario winters. And had one dry and rusted slide pin on the right side.

I paid $813.00 Canadian thanks to a great deal from Nick@GotExhaust

My local dodge dealer wanted just over $1000 after taxes and another $400 in labor for OEM rotors/pads. I figured $813.00 and an hour in the driveway was a much better deal.

My left rotor had 2 deep grooves worn into it. And on the right side I had a rusted in and seized slide pin.

Needless to say I needed to replace them. Only 65,000km on OEM parts. I live in northern Ontario and the salt and winter conditions do not help my case

For sure, I will keep this post updated as I put mileage on the brakes and bed them in.

For those that were curious. I have finally had a day where it isn’t raining so I got around to changing the rear brakes and put some mileage on.

Stopping power has had a definite noticeable increase and when I flush and bleed the system it will be even better. Highly recommend this kit to anyone wondering.

UPS man delivered mine today. Though, he was mad he didn't use the hand truck. lol! Have the caliber covers coming in, too.
