I also have a Pulsar and it works as advertised. Mine is coupled with a CAI and eBay throttle controller ($75 shipped) & it works fine. I do have to keep the throttle controller at a very low performance setting, otherwise the vehicle is way too touchy.
I did have one issue when the vehicle went into “limp mode” but I attribute that to a glitch with the Throttle controller. I shut the vehicle off, cleared the code (throttle position sensor) and no problems since.
Lastly, if cost is your concern, I bought mine as a refurbished unit from Powerteq for $250 shipped ($279 w/10% off during cyber Monday). I don’t know if there’s any refurb units available now but it’s worth keeping an eye out for one. It came with a full factory warranty & was fully updated.
