Great improvement. There is a member on another forum that gained almost .4 in the 1/4 mile on his mostly stock 4th gen with a 2600 stall converter. If you are not planning on extensive mods, then a 2600 stall is perfect. If you plan to add more mods in the future, then it will be cheaper for you to go straight to the 2800 from the start. A 2800 in a bone stock truckl will still be very streetable.

killed a tundra the other night!

Very nice, my dads work truck is a tundra with the 5.7 and that thing can move for sure

The converter and vb will show huge gains combined. There is no core required for either part. The vb won't show any difference in mileage, but many guys have claimed better mileage with the converter.

Install is not hard at all. Once you drop the tranny pan, you are looking directly at the VB. Take out a few bolts and the filters, and you are good to go.

what happens if one decides to just go with the converter, and not the vb? with the vb would it have to have a custom tune for it?

No tune needed for either part.

Like mentioned, no tuning is required for either part. You can run just the converter, or just the valvebody. I wanted to offer these as a package because so many people buy them together, and I figured this would be a great way to save everyone $50 on the deal.

I am stocking the VB's now which is nice. Before, it would take Sharadon 3-4 days to modify these and then ship them out. Now that I have them in stock, I am able to ship same day. I only have 1 left right now, but will have 3 more coming next week.

Cool just wondered since the valve body changes how the truck shifts, and my tune changes how my truck shifts. Didn't know if they would play nice together. Can't wait for bonus time!!!!!

Sound like a really good time to upgrade to a deeper trans pan from moes as well
