So in lieu of my current front end situation I've been shopping around at all my options to replace my struts. Obviously there's a balance between price and quality which is always a juggle. Ive been searching and at this point have come to terms with spending a bit more up front and being done with it. I'm open to input and ideas, because well...nobody likes throwing money away. So here's my ideas
1st- Eibach pro lift kit- front struts, rear shocks, front and rear coils. Called them today, rep said that it's about a 10% spring rate increase front and rear. 2.75 front lift/ 1" rear. Only thing is if it's not model specific I may have to see how the coils sit under the diesel since it might have been r&d with a hemi. But the front still has options with the struts like bilstein so it may just be trial and error. Its new to market so there's squat for info. 713$ out the door is enticing and eibach is quality, but it's new and not tested long term by consumers. Might guinea pig it.
2nd-bilstein 5100s no need to elaborate here paired with icon rear coils to retain some rake. 650$ ish
3rd- 6112s/5100s same as above 900$ ish
All these would run similar in price, I'm planning on zone ucas down the road so I'm looking to retain 2.3-2.75 of lift. Mostly curious on thoughts on the new kit. Obviously bilstein is the old stand by, but I'm not blown away by them enough to not consider other choices. It would be one thing if these trucks rode like ass, but man I'll really kick myself if I ruined that.
