last night on my way home I heard a ding from my dash and the dash lit up full brightness. By the time I looked down everything was back to normal. This was about 1/2 second. Did it 3 more times in 10 minutes. The last time it dinged I saw an orange light looked like possibly a circle on the upper right side of the center display but that also went out before I could make out what it was. Anyone have any idea what it may be? No issues driving or anything that I noticed out of the ordinary. I know people have said battery’s cause weird problems but my truck started no problem. And my truck was bought December 2016

If I'm not mistaken, upper right hand side of your cluster is "airbag warning light" (to the right of your seat belt light). It is recommended if it comes on while driving to have a dealer check it out.... up to you of course.

Guess I’ll have to see if it comes back on next time I drive. Hopefully I can catch whatever the light is. Might have to check the handbook on warning lights and see what’s in that area

Hello crazykid1994,

We're sorry to hear about this unexpected concern. If you decide to have this looked at by the dealer, please let us know. We're available via direct message and would be happy to help.

Here's how to do the check:

Testing the instrument cluster on a 2014 Ram; This can be done by holding the down button on steering wheel and turning ignition switch to accessory.
I’ll have to see if that works for me. I have the cheap cluster. Only yellow circle I see in your picture though says abs... I sure hope not. Thank you

A momentary ABS light is not a bad thing - it could be simply alerting you to a loss of traction during braking where ABS was activated. But you should have felt a difference on the brake pedal at the same time. Sometimes this is hard to detect if it occurs at the same time you are going over a rough patch in the road.

Under the circumstance you describe I have a traction control light that will flash not the abs light. I’ve still yet to drive my truck to check as I have a work vehicle and the truck is the grocery getter

Alright. Drive the truck a few times. Light came on once and it only happened at night with lights on. Same situation as first time. During the day so far nothing wether raining or not. I did see the light this time. Low tire light came on but all tires were at 37 according to the dash Tpms. No ideas as to what’s causing it? Bad tps or what?

Without having it looked at it's hard to say but it sounds like a weak TPMS sensor.

If it gets worse I’ll have to take it in. Just not wanting to go in for the auto park update... hah

More info. Dash started flashing like crazy. Popped up a message saying no bus and kept flashing for a good 15 seconds. As soon as I got ready to take a picture everything went back to normal. I need to check all my connections in the dash... then bring it in to dodge I guess
