Hey everyone names Devin and I'm new here. Anyways I just replaces the 130amp fuse on my positive terminal running from the alternator, it worked fine until I pressed my wiper sprayers to clean my windshield, they did their thing but I noticed they did not turn off. I turned them off full then turned them to off but they still wouldn't shut off, about a few seconds later the horn honks a couple times, so I turn the key to the off position. Truck does not shut off, so I go to the engine bay where I smell a burning smell coming from the fuse box. I get nervous and pull the battery terminals and the alternator wire to finally shut the truck off. I open the fuse box and it has burn marks on in and stinks. Now I don't get power to half the fuses in the box but they are not blown. Also when I hook power back up to the truck the wipers are still on and when I switch the ignition on it starts itself without me turning the key all the way. Does anyone know what the heck is going on? I can't find anything about it on the internet...

Probably unrelated but my truck started acting up (and still is) when I found that the windshield washer motor would come on for no reason and drain the battery. Pulled that fuse a few years ago but now the problem is back.

Might need to replace your TIPM. I've been experiencing similar issues
