I have a 2016 ram 1500 express slt with the 5in radio I swapped that for a 8.4 I don’t have the climate control module just yet but doing fine without it anyways I switched because the radio kept turning the volume down to zero and sometimes would be finicky to turn back up all randomly well I figured it was the radio so I bought a 8.4 everything works but after a few days the battery saver message started coming up which mutes the radio and can’t turn it back up until restarting the truck which lasts anywhere from 1-3 minutes it only does this running as the battery saver works that way.. I’m getting there… on obd link it says the battery voltage is 14+ but the Ibs is only 11v if the truck is off battery will be 12.6 but Ibs reading 8v mind you all day today I’ve had the battery on a maintainer/charger on agm mode being it’s a xs power d4900 and when I went to leave the truck just shut off and stayed in drive it didn’t even auto shift I cycled the key and it started up just fine but then went into battery saver

Have you taken all major electrical connections / grounds apart, cleaned and securely redone all the battery and cable connections?
Sounds like a loose / dirty connection B+ or ground.

You can test the connections with a DVM and measure for any voltage drop across them.

Check your owner's manual for the description of the battery saver. Load shedding is associated with either exterior or interior lights left on. This is what the battery saver description is for my 2022 and my 2015. I do not have a 2016 manual, but I doubt it is different. I would first understand what is triggering your battery saver before moving on.

The way to do that is to probably start pulling fuses and measuring current. There's a couple really good videos on how to find a battery drain on youtube. Worth searching out and watching. Might get you up to speed quicker how to do...by watching.

After reading that post , my head hurts .
I would suggest a odd space and such.
Mind you I hate the phone for this, so use computer.

As has been said, find out what is drawing too much power and fix that first.
Check current draw on that radio and also on main battery current draw at sleep mode.
