Emergency! Tailgate help

So, I just went to open the tailgate door on my 2013 Ram 1500 Sport that has electric locks. I unlocked it and heard it unlock. When I went to open it, the handle broke. I have a Mopar soft roll up tonneau cover Over it. I’m not sure how to get it open to replace the handle. I happen to have a spare handle to replace it with but I don’t know how to get into the bed to replace it. Please help me ASAP as I have well over $1000 in tools in the bed now that I need to get out.

Not super familiar with the Mopar tonneau cover but can you peel the sides up enough to get the cover release? or crawl in to the bed to pull the tailgate access cover? I think the access cover screws at T25 or T27 once you get the cover off you can release the tailgate.

I ended up peeling the Velcro up enough to get my arm in and pull the cover release strap but ended up breaking the latch to it. But it allowed me to roll up the cover and get to the access panel and open the tailgate. Thanks for the help.
