I've seen a few threads on here of people getting performance pages to work but I cannot for the life of me figure out what the defining setting is. I was finally able to get the performance pages app on my home screen and in the drawer but they were a different app compared to the SRT dashboard app that another user on here had. Any extra information would be appreciative

Message Brandon-W. I think he has them working in his truck
Up till 2015 you could Jailbreak them,my buddy who originally built the paddle shifters for the 8 speed trucks had them working in his 15 ,i've had his paddles in my truck since 15,and kick my a$$ for not jailbreaking the performance pages back then while you could.
Brandon-W has paddle shifters for the 4th gen 8 speeds trucks if you want to add them to your truck.

I've got the SRT Dashboard to work on my truck, there are a few things I'd like to try to see if any functionality can be added

Here are some pictures of it working 1000024431.jpg1000024430.jpg

Only thing that still doesn't work is performance pages which is odd at this point. Can confirm that these do work on 39.6 firmware, any higher and you will likely lose this.

They currently do not work though I didnt have some options enabled that effect this and will have to wait for a couple ignition cycles to see if they actually change anything.
Does Launch Control actually work?
If none of the options work, the performance pages are pointless.

Perhaps the "Red FOB", or key, would enable the "performance options".
I agree that is likely the key to enabling them. Though one thing I suspect may work is valet mode which limits the engine and transmission for the purposes of valet service. I assume this was so they didnt take your hellcat out and joy ride it

My daughter purchased a new to her Durango RT. Now this is the AWD RT with a 5.7 hemi, it has a console shifter and the sport hood and the 8.4 radio. Approximately 6k in miles. It's a 2023 model.

I was looking it over yesterday and the thing has performance pages as an option in the apps.

It shows top speed, 1/8 mile times, 1/4 mile times, g forces, HP torque, reaction time, the drive line and a bunch of other stuff. Guages, etc. This is not an SRT Durango.

I didn't get to play with it long enough to see if it had launch mode, but based on my quick review of online details, I suspect it has it.

Has anyone seen this? Makes me wonder if you can get these on a 5.7 Durango why can we get them on our trucks? Seems like they work on a 5.7.

Curious

Both the wifes 2016 Challenger 5.7 and 2019 Challenger 6.4 had the performance pages with everything including launch control and paddle shifters, not sure why they never added them to the trucks

Yup, agree, seems the Durango is more truck than car but who knows. Sometimes it makes you go hmm....

I know this is an old post but I tried this procedure and it worked. I have not thoroughly tested everything as It's late at night and I wanted to try it quick. The procedure above does work as I tested it on my 2016 Dodge Ram but there are side effects. Depending on what "Vehicle Line" you select will determine what APPS are available. I followed the above procedure step by step and it gave me a "Metric" performance page. So I tried a couple of other "Vehicle Lines" and it provided different apps based on the specific vehicle line. As of now I have the ZB-Viper selected and it showed an older software version of performance pages that is not metric. Then as mentioned in the video I dragged and dropped the app into my bottom menu, I replaced the heated seat app. Then I switched back to the vehicle line of DS-Ram for my make and model truck. The App is still there as of having the truck powered on for 10minutes.
The other thing about changing the vehicle line you have to be aware of is the BCM is looking for certain things on the network so you have to change it back to your actual vehicle line when your changes are done and hopefully the app will still stay in the menu list. I dragged and dropped the Viper performance pages to my main menu and then changed my vehicle line to drag and drop the performance transmission menu to the main menu. When I switched back to my actual Vehicle line I lost the transmission menu but the Viper performance pages stayed as of now.
So the trick is figuring out what vehicle line will have the best option for Apps. But you need to switch back to your actual vehicle line because the gauges and sensors are calibrated based on the vehicle line.
For example when I switched to the Viper vehicle line I got errors for trailer brakes and ABS and my fuel gauge read half full when my truck actually as only a quarter in it.
It would be nice if someone took the time and researched every app available based on vehicle line and see what app would actually stay on the screen.
Also, with the Viper performance pages activated on my 2016 Ram, the instrument cluster gauge showed incorrect engine oil temperature but the performance gauges on the media display were accurate.

ok, trial number 2.......
This time I:
Performance pages present - yes
Vehicle is an SRT - Yes (VehConfig3)
Uconnect Apps present - yes
VehicleSpecialPackage1 - ADR
VehicleSpecialPackage2 - ADR
Enable SuperTack Pack - Yes (vehicle config7)
Vehicle line:
LD Charger 1st, then key off for 10 seconds and then turn the key on. Do a radio factory reset by holding the left side Hot and Cold button at the same time until the dealer menu opens, scroll to the factory default settings and select yes and then wait. You can shut the interior fans off manually in the meet time. Once the radio resets you will get an app that looks like a steering wheel, drag and drop that into your lower menu bar.
Now change the vehicle line to ZB-Viper, once saved shut the power off again for 10 seconds and then turn the power back on. This time DONT restore your radio using the dealer menu but just do a soft reset using the volume and tuner buttons, press and hold them both for about 5 seconds and release and the screen should go blank and the radio will restart. This time around performance pages for a Dodge Viper will show up and drag and drop this to your lower menu also.
Then finally switch your Vehicle line back to DS-Ram and then again shut your vehicle off power wise, wait 10 seconds and then turn the vehicle back on. In my case everything was working great and the Transmission tune page was still there along with the Performance pages.
If the apps are still there after this then go to:
EnableDriveConfiguration - Yes (VehicleConfig2)
EnableDriveModeFeature - Yes ( there's several options, enable them all)
also TransmissionDriveModeFeature - YES (vehicleconfig7)
This was just done tonight and I read the BCM may make changes overnight so I'm not sure how things will be in the morning. But as of typing this these features are available doing the procedure above, the transmission modes I don't know as I never started the truck as its really late at night.
Tomorrow I'll see what actually works......

@BlakRose , maybe you could snap a few screen shots & post pics of what it gives you if it works.
I would but overnight Performance pages locked up and the driveline app does nothing. The problem with changing the vehicle line is it also changes the readings to the instrument cluster like the fuel gauge for example. When I switched to the Viper vehicle line my gauge read I was out of fuel and other things went out of wack. I'm going to leave the vehicle line alone for now and try changing models and special packages to see if anything happens. It takes a while to do because of the radio reset takes a couple of minutes. I'll post here if I stumble across anything further......

I've never worked with the trucks tazer, but i know on the cars you can use the tazer to unlock the performance pages,as i've got them unlocked on my 300,have you looked into whether it'll do the same on the trucks.

I'm at the point where I may look into the Taser because if I do get Performance pages to work and stay even in DS mode, its all in metric. I thought tonight it may be in metric because I had my DRL's set for Canada mode and I disabled them and it made no instant changes. Tomorrow I will check and see what actually works after sitting overnight....
