I have a 2008 ram 2500, 5.7, with a g56 transmission. Since owning it, when going down the road and letting off the gas, the truck continues to coast without much lost of speed. Down a hill there is absolutely no hold back, it will continue to speed up regardless of gear or whether its 1500 rpm or 4500 rpm. Are all trucks with this engine transmission combinations the same? It also seems as though the truck continues to apply gas to limit the amount the truck speed is reduced. Is there any way to fix this?
