No it's fine. Just keep driving, I'm sure the light will get bored eventually and go away on it's own.

The light flashing means something critical is wrong and you shouldn't drive it. Get it to a service station.

Don't worry- the bulb will eventually burn out.

Flashing from what ive heard is a condition which could damage the catalytic converter, ie: a misfire condition.

Why is nobody curious what faults are stored when a scanner is hooked up?

Pull the codes. Mine did that when the lifter decided to eat a cam lobe. Not saying thats the problem, just that you need to have it checked out.

Mines is doing the same thing, when I accelerate I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow. When I fine out what it is I'll posts it. 2010 Ram!
