My 2018 Ram 1500 was involved in an accident on the front drivers side, taking out the fender, wheel and suspension. The airbag didn't deploy. After repairing the problem, the truck started rite up but died immediately. But if I press the brake down it starts up and continues to run until I let up off the brake. Then it dies. Prior to all this, the shift selector was stuck in reverse (it was towed up on a flatbed) and the screen was saying tranny needs servicing. I was checking fuses and discovered that the transmission fuse was missing. The towing company said they didn't do it. Whatever. When I replaced the fuse, I was able to get it in gear and then in park. Now it's doing what I explained earlier. Starts and dies. Any input would be most appreciated.

Was the fuse box/tipm damaged? I would be looking in that area pull it up and check the wires and connectors underneath it check for damage and not fully seated connectors.

I'm fairly sure a hemi has this I know other vehicles that do, I believe there is an inertia switch that shuts down fuel, research fuel sensor hemi as another possibility along with other poster suggested.

Online mechanic says you do have one and it's under right side of dash. It usually looks like a button. If there is a position number set it to 0 and push button, or if nothing labeled on switch, just push button. That should set intertia switch to off and allow for fuel delivery if that is issue.
