I just wanted to reach out and ask if anyone has removed/swapped a 3rd gen 4.7l with a 2nd gen 5.2L? I have an 05 1500 4.7L automatic tranny but it has issues and I want to take a good 5.2L manual tranny and install it in this truck. If anyone has any information on this swap I would love to know. I realize there are differences in the electronics between the two and I don't mind switching the wiring harness but I'm not sure how to distribute power to other components. Any and all advice is welcomed. Thanks
